About Just4Kicks Soccer
Just4Kicks Soccer is led by Coach Al Arevalo, who holds a Professional and International Coaching License with the Argentine Soccer Federation (ATFA).
Our story began in the Bay Area and took root in Vacaville in 2003, where we launched our first official program in Solano County. Soon after, we expanded to Benicia, and today, Just4Kicks proudly offers programs across Contra Costa County, including Berkeley and Pinole.
With over 25 years of experience, Just4Kicks is more than a soccer program — it’s an institution of formation. Many of our former players have grown up to become coaches themselves, including one who now leads programs of their own.
At Just4Kicks, our success comes from a proven curriculum and time-tested methods that emphasize development through every phase — from initiation to formation. Thousands of kids have grown through our program, including Coach Al’s three children, who not only trained through Just4Kicks but later coached alongside him as well.
Our philosophy is built around our five pillars of formation — Biomechanics, Technical, Cognitive, Soccer IQ, and Emotional Intelligence — and guided by our motto: Play – Fun – Learn.
Through this approach, we don’t just teach soccer; we help shape confident, well-rounded players who learn to love the game for life.

Our Soccer Philosophy
At Just4Kicks, we teach more than soccer — we teach life through the game. Our coaching focuses on The Five Pillars of Formation, designed for the crucial initiation and formation phases of player development:
🏃 Biomechanics – Balance, coordination, and body awareness through play.
⚽ Technical – Ball control, dribbling, and first-touch mastery.

Programs for Ages 2–12
Our developmental programs are carefully designed for each age and stage:
Parent & Me (2.5 – 3.5 yrs) – Gentle introduction through movement and bonding.
Pre-K (3.5 – 4 yrs) – Simple skills, listening, and fun activities.
Kinder (4 – 5 yrs) – Learning teamwork and confidence with the ball.
Kinder (5 – 6 yrs) – Strengthen fundamentals, awareness, and confidence through guided play.
5v5 League (7-12 yrs) – Small sided games that challenge, teach, and inspire.
Each program blends technical learning with social and emotional growth — because the best players are happy players.
